Pucallpa, Peru :: June 14 - 21, 2025
Trip Details
No matter your skill set, there’s a place for you on this team!
Amongst other things, we’ll be installing a water purification system and teaching basic health and hygiene practices. We’ll be based in Pucallpa, Peru, and will serve people both in the city and in the surrounding villages. Once we know who’ll be on the team, we’ll tap into everyone’s talents and passions to meet each respective community’s immediate needs.
We’ll be staying at Casa Shea in the heart of Pucallpa, Peru. The facility was built to house short-term teams, providing a comfortable place to stay with modern amenities, including hot water, flushing toilets, and air conditioning.
Basic Info
Here’s the bottom line: We’re there to be agents of change in Peru. We’re there to share resources, to serve the underprivileged, and to love our global neighbors as ourselves.
The days can feel pretty intense… but it’s worth it when we experience the massive smiles and gestures of gratitude as a result of simply spending time with, and caring for, all the folks we’ll meet along the way.
On both ends of our trip, we’ll go through Lima. From Lima, we’ll fly over the Andes Mountains on a short flight into the jungle city of Pucallpa, located on the banks of the Ucayali River (the main headwater of the Amazon River). We’ll be staying at Casa Shea, where our missionaries, Tom and Rita, are based.
Documents
We will do all we can to keep your cost as low as possible. To assist in this, we ask that you submit all the required documentation by March 14, 2025. Having all this in place will allow us to purchase plane tickets well in advance and take advantage of lower ticket prices.
You will need the following to complete this form:
Medical insurance info
A copy of your passport
As soon as everyone on the team has submitted the necessary forms, we'll be able to start the search for the best possible flights to Abaco. The sooner we have everyone's documents, the sooner we can start the search, and the better chance of a good deal on airfares!
Fundraising
The majority of folks who serve with us on a team utilize our fundraising tools to help raise funds for their trip. Not only does this help with the financial cost of going on a trip, but it’s also a great way to build your own team of supporters who will be praying for you and those you serve. In addition, it allows those who are unable to go themselves to be part of the mission and the work God will be doing in and through you.
