The Liquid Legacy Family

Peet & Sue

Originally from South Africa, Peet made his way to Memphis, TN in 2003, having spent some time in Florida along the way. Sue is originally from the UK and, after spending several years in California, moved to Memphis in 2007, having met, worked with, and fallen for Peet the previous year.

After a combined 30+ years of working in the church and numerous non-profits, they launched The Liquid Legacy in 2018 as a way to continue serving the people of Peru they’d fallen in love with as a result of many mission trips there over the years. Since then, they’ve been excited to also spread The Liquid Legacy’s wings to Abaco, The Bahamas, to help rebuild after the island was devastated by Hurricane Dorian in 2019.

Peet and Sue have been married since 2007 and they have an adorably fluffy, half-blind, grouchy old pup called Max. They love Jesus, the beach, cooking, photography, picnics, and having people in their home. Peet also loves fishing and all things “Jeep Wrangler”… Oh, and he’s a self-confessed coffee snob!
