Trip Details
The needs in Abaco and the outlying Cays (pronounced “keys”) are immense. But the good news is that we have an opportunity to step into the void. Through serving the least of these, we believe we can make a huge impact on the lives of those who call these islands home.
Here at The Liquid Legacy, we strongly believe that sustainable and continuous growth is most effective when led by people in the community. Therefore, we work alongside local individuals, churches, and groups who are committed to making a lasting difference, helping them learn necessary skills, and providing resources and financial assistance as needed.
Basic Info
The bottom line: We’re there to be agents of change in Abaco. We’re there to share resources, to serve the underprivileged, and to love our global neighbors as ourselves.
Dorian made landfall as a Category 5 hurricane with sustained winds of 185mph, causing catastrophic damage on the entire island of Abaco. Though help streamed in immediately afterwards, it will take years of commitment and hard work to rebuild these communities. To this end, we’ll be spending our time cleaning up, fixing up, and building up wherever we’re needed, lending a hand, and letting these people know they haven’t been forgotten.
The days will probably feel pretty intense… but it’s worth it when you experience the big smiles and suffocating hugs of gratitude as a result of spending time with, and caring for, all the folks we’ll meet along the way.
Documents
We will do all we can to keep your cost as low as possible. To assist in this, we ask that you submit all the required documentation by February 15, 2025. Having all this in place will allow us to purchase plane tickets well in advance and take advantage of lower ticket prices.

As soon as everyone on the team has submitted the necessary forms, we'll be able to start the search for the best possible flights to Abaco. Again, the sooner we have everyone's documents, the sooner we can start the search, and the better chance of a good deal on airfares!
Fundraising
The majority of folks who serve with us on a team utilize our fundraising tools to help raise funds for their trip. Not only does this help with the financial cost of going on a trip, but it’s also a great way to build your own team of supporters who will be praying for you and those you serve. In addition, it allows those who are unable to go themselves to be part of the mission and the work God will be doing in and through you.
Trip Cost
We will do all we can to keep your cost as low as possible. To assist in this, we ask that you submit all the required documentation by January 6, 2025. Having all this in place will allow us to purchase plane tickets well in advance and take advantage of lower ticket prices.
Trip Cost: $1,700 + International Airfare (approximately $2,600 total)
Includes: International airfare, all ground transportation, health and travel insurance, lodging and meals in Abaco, service projects, excursions.
Excludes: Food and drinks in the airports, and personal shopping.

Mar 21: 50% funded
May 17: 100% funded
